What is Bad Friends?

Bad Friends is a comedy podcast hosted by Andrew Santino and Bobby Lee. Episodes mix current events, improvised sketches, advice, talk about mental health, made-up characters and celebrity guests, and they usually run for one to two hours.

When did it start?

The first episode came out on February 17, 2020. New episodes arrive every week on Monday.

Who are the hosts?

Bobby Lee was a cast member on MADtv from 2001 to 2009 and has hosted the podcast TigerBelly since 2015. Andrew Santino is a stand-up comedian from Chicago who played Mike on the TV series Dave and released the Netflix special Cheeseburger in 2023. On Bad Friends, both of them also play a whole cast of characters.

What is "I'm Bobby Mom"?

It's one of the show's best-known bits: Andrew putting on a voice as Bobby's mother. Bobby's mom has been part of the jokes since the very first episode, and fans quote the line everywhere. That's why it turns up on two of our designs.

Does the show go on tour?

Yes. Bad Friends went on a live tour across the US and Canada in 2023, and to Australia, New Zealand and Asia in 2024. In May 2024, Hulu announced a development deal for an animated series based on the podcast.
